Green Hornet















Registered First Year Leaders,
 Co-Leaders, Assistant Leaders












The Candidate has fulfilled the position with enthusiasm and vigor and has provided a well-rounded program including:
- A service project
- Participation in the annual Cookie Sale (Daisy Age-Level optional)
- Attendance at 3/4 of their Service Unit Meetings
- Completion of Girl Scouting 101, Leader 101, plus one additional course or workshop
- Troop participation in a Service Unit or Council Event

Silver Hornet





Registered Adult Volunteers




- Must be an active adult member for five or more years
- Must have rendered continuous service for betterment of the Girl Scout Program
- Has met the volunteer position description requirements

Gold Hornet







Registered Adult Volunteers






- Must be an active adult member for ten or more years
- Must have rendered continuous service for the betterment of the Girl Scout Program
- Must have served on a Service Unit Team for at least one year or chaired a Service Unit event within the last 5 years

- No Form
- Recipients are determined by the Service Unit Awards Committee

Perfect Leader Attendance

Leaders,
Co-Leaders, Assistant Leaders

During monthly Service Unit Meetings, Leaders must sign the attendance sheet at the Round Tables in order to be counted.

Perfect Troop Attendance

All Troops


During monthly Service Unit Meetings, ANY leader, co-leader, assistant leader or troop volunteer in your troop, must sign the attendance sheet at the Round Tables in order for your troop to be counted.

Green Knight


Males 18 years or older


The candidate must demonstrate that he has gone above and beyond in their contribution to Girl Scouting, in both an active and supporting role.

Troop Community Awareness







All Troops








Troops must accomplish five activities:
- Fulfill the age-level requirement noted.
- Complete 3 additional activities from those remaining.
- Submit an article with the form on what requirements were completed and how they were fulfilled.

ToGetHerThere Award
(Previously Outstanding Troop Award)

All Troops

- Each activity can fulfill only one requirement, which must have been accomplished during the current Girl Scout year Oct 1st -Sept 30th).
- All activities used to meet requirements for the award may also be applied toward other badge, patch, IPP, or award requirements in GSUSA or GSHNC council Programs.

- Complete and submit the ToGetHerThere Award Form

Volunteer of Excellence










Registered Adult Volunteers






An adult can earn this award for working directly with girls or for working with adults.
- Must be an active adult member
- Must have successfully completed a term of service and all requirements, including appropriate training, for the position
For service to girls:
- The volunteer's contribution is beyond the expectations of the position to deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls using the National Program Portfolio.
For service with adults:
- The volunteer's performance has been beyond the expectations of theposition and has supported the mission-delivery goals within the Service Unit in one or more of the following areas: Membership Development/Community Cultivation, Volunteer Relations and Support, Program, Leadership and Governance, Fund Development, and Support Service (such as IT).
- No Maximum number per Service Unit.

Union 1 BINGO Card

All Leaders and Co-Leaders in Union 1

BINGO PRIZE:
- Receive a Union 1 Participation Patch for blacking out an "X" or a "T" on the BINGO Card.
BLACKOUT BINGO PRIZE:
- Receive a Union 1 Volunteer Certificate for blacking out the entire BINGO Card. Prize will be awarded at the Leader Banquet.

- Complete the Union 1 BINGO Card.
- Send to Union 1 Leader Training/Awards Consultant.
